Mindy was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1968 but has lived in Westerville, Ohio for most of her life. In fact, she currently resides in Westerville with her husband Randy, son Kylan and daughter Kami.

Her first book was “Guylo,” a heartwarming story about her beloved German Shepherd and the beautiful bond of friendship they shared. “The King” is Mindy‘s second book and chronicles the life of Ohio’s winningest high school basketball coach, Dick “The King” Kortokrax. Her most recent book, “Dear Mom,” reflects on the life of her 90-year-old mother, Carm Drayer.

Mindy is a huge animal lover... especially dogs. She and her family currently have four dogs of their own...Whopper, L.C., Striker, and Zetti.
